Abstract
Anxiety is an organism’s emotional response to danger. There are many different forms of anxiety; it also has a form for the mathematics lesson. Mathematics anxiety continues to increase in students starting from primary school ages. An important reason for this is that mathematics topics are constantly getting more complex and follow a logical order. In other words, it is tough to understand the next issue without understanding the previous case. This study was conducted to determine the extent to which students suffer from math anxiety. For this purpose, a Likert scale questionnaire was applied to the students. Obtained results were evaluated with descriptive statistics. According to the results, math anxiety was detected in a significant portion of the students.
